Work for all, also the most vulnerable.

The support offered by the “Progetto Lavoro” team is aimed at facilitating the work and social inclusion of vulnerable individuals who have difficulty finding employment on their own. People are assisted in writing their resumes and cover letters, directed towards training courses, and supported in understanding which activities may be most aligned with their personal characteristics and abilities.

Additionally, guidance is provided on job search methods (e.g., registering on main job portals, opening email addresses for sending applications, preparing for job interviews) and on legal aspects (reading employment contracts, explaining rights and duties, understanding payslips, etc.).

This service is available to all adults who reach out to Opera San Francesco.

The requirements to access the service are:

  • Having valid residency and identity documents.
  • Having a sufficient level of Italian language skills (minimum A2).

Intervention methods

Building a relationship of trust through a welcoming space and non-judgmental active listening is the starting point to assist those who turn to Opera San Francesco.

The operators, through one or more interviews, gather the individual’s work history, trying to identify skills, knowledge, strengths, weaknesses, and jointly create individual paths:

  • They help and prepare individuals for job interviews.
  • They accompany them during the initial stages of employment, focusing on fragile areas and supporting skills and competencies.
  • They monitor and support the work path because employment needs to be “maintained,” and in case of job loss, they provide reorientation.
